The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.
SASSA are going to be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed concerning the superior quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The company issue established for intervention experiences a significant influx of likely beneficiaries, which makes it tough with the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In SRD this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more resources to allow the servicing of all buyers and improve entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
